What else is new in Catalyst?
New difficulty scaling
We completely revamped our scoring system, and introduce a new way to add another level of difficulty and challenges to your game! During the start of a new run, tap the difficulty menu to reveal a new ‘malignance’ bar. Select up to 5 challenges to increase your score by a percentage as indicated by the selected Malignancies and see how far you can push it.
UI Improvements
We’ve made various UI improvements and various other tweaks, including post processing effects which can add that extra bit of immersion to the various zones and make the game look pretty. As it can be quite taxing on phones power-wise, its turned off by default and can be enabled via the menu.
Catalyst Supporter Pack
We believe every player should have access to the same levels of power. We don’t want you to feel you need to spend money to gain power, energy, or any mobile BS that plagues the industry.
